Does not work well with G4i and Android. Was promised an update this week to fix issues, Still waiting.
The app simply doesn't work as intended. When I attempt to change the bike to a different mode (city, eco, etc), nothing happens. When I try to save a custom setting, nothing happens. It doesn't show information on my bike unless the bike is currently on. It constantly reverts to the "setup" screen, even though I have already connected my bike to it.
Terrible
The app is nicely designed but I keep disconnected from my G4 while cycling. Need to open and osé several times to connect.
This is just a bike configurator and it does the job if you're lucky enough. When I saw the dashboard I thought there was something more to it, given the bike price. Wrong. This is a halfheartedly attempt to make the Gocycle experience better. The UI is old, dull while the UX must be improved. I can't believe such a beautifully designed bike comes with this. There's so much that could have been done, such as an integration with Google Fit or Maps. But again, just use this for your first setup.

I love the bike, but this app has ruined the experience so much I'm thinking if selling it. Got a new phone and now can't connect, so I can't adjust my settings. I'll never buy a bike that forces the use of an app ever again.
Unable to pair with gocycle
Astonishingly poor app considering product and basically stop using it, main issues which I think need to be fixed: 1. One can't see stats without the bike being on/near it. 2. Loading time is very long/needs to be optimised. Connecting everytime takes a while/fails half the time (reason why I stopped using it) and doesn't happen automatically to your bike 3. Stats 'saved' on bike/synchronisation doesn't work (cycled distance total is ~200km but ODO is ~600km)
App is steadily improving but you need to follow Mike King's instructions of 13/8/19 if you upgrade your phone. Unfortunately you then lose all your historical data.
